Well I got a chance to stop by that thrift shop in Poky I was telling you about. I had to sneak it in between shopping for food to feed a house full of very hungry football players and the scrimmage. I picked up some old coke bottles there. You might ask yourself why would anyone want old coke bottles? You know us better than that! Just look what apartmenttherapy.com did with these old bottles. They are simple and perfect conversation starters, don't cha think?
I got out of helping her move because my hubby and I drove to Idaho to see our youngest son's scrimmage. Lucky me, cuz I love football and I DO KNOW HOW MUCH JUNK DIXIE HAS TO MOVE! Anywhooo, I hope to get to one of my favorite thrift stores of all time, Desert Industries in Pocatello. I always seem to find alot of treasures there. I'll keep you posted!
It is our brothers birthday and we want to take this opportunity to wish him much happiness!!! He has always been a whole lotta fun, as you can see by the picture below, he was a sport and joined us in "forbidden land" for most men. He went to the Farm Chicks Show with us!!

Our friend, Fancy at Cactus Creek Daily tweeted the other day about this fabulous chair. We loved it so much we had to show it to you. How many times have you passed up a chair with a shape similar to this one? Now you know just what to do with it! The turquoise color on the wood is so chic.
We never thought of doing this to a table. Oh boy, I feel a junk project coming on....
